Brimo responds to the statements of Elham Ahmed and Riyadh Dirar

ARK News: A member of the representative of the Kurdistan Region of the Kurdish National Council in Syria and a member of the Central Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria responded to the statements of the heads of the Council of Syria Democratic Elham Ahmed and Riyadh Dirar and he expressed the attitude of the Kurdish National Council of the Kurds on the statements of both Elham Ahmed from America of not to accept the return of Roj Peshmerga promoted as a military force and the existence of understandings with the Council in internal, as well as the statements of Riyadh Dirar on the role of the Kurdistan Region in the reunification of the Syrian Kurdish parties and the need to hold a meeting under the region’s management.

This came in the sixth news bulletin of ARK on January 30, 2019, where he referred to the recent statements which issued by both Elham Ahmed and Riyadh Dirar, heads of the Syrian Democratic Council, and he called them contradictory.

Brimo criticized the statements of Elham Ahmed, who said in America, "If the Peshmerga forces removed their weapons and military uniforms then they can pardon them” surprisingly, "as if they had committed a crime and requested amnesty from the PYD" as for what she said, they do not have any problem with the leadership of the Council at homeland, but their problem with the leadership of the Council abroad "Brimo assured that " Such statements are to create a rift and division and disagreement between the Council itself, pointing out that "they – the PYD- accept all parties and forces except the Kurdish National Council, especially the forces of Roj Peshmerga.

"Brimo expressed the attitude of the Kurdish National Council saying," The Kurdish National Council and the PYD are two different projects and there is the possibility of solidarity and we have 3 agreements concluded in the Kurdistan Region in reference to the agreements of Hawler 1-2 and Duhok and if they return to the Duhok agreement to settle the situation in Kurdistan of Syria, it is likely that the situation in Afrin is different from what it is now too, he added: "We are a Syrian Kurdish project holding, while the PYD has a Syrian-Syrian project, and we have forces who have come up with IS and others to preserve the land of Kurdistan while their forces are in Hajeen and Deir al-Zour defend the Syrian regime, we are the owners of the Kurdish nationalist project while they are carrying the project of defending the Syrian regime.

Brimo added "Dirar's recent statements were issued because they are going through critical situations and trying to resort to the Kurdistan Regional Government once again and the attitude of the Regional government from the beginning is clear and always says they do not interfere in the internal affairs of the Syrian Kurdish, but if you agree and reconcile, we are ready but the PYD officials have broken the agreements between us, and despite all repressive practices against the National Council, we are ready to arrange the priorities and the PYD should return to the implementation and application of the Duhok Agreement and the formation of a political and military body (Roj Peshmerga and YPG) and the PYD should do self-review.

Brimo noted that "the PYD is divided between three parties a party is with the Syrian regime and another one is with Qandil and the third one is with America, and each of them declares his temper and contrary to the other statement, and as the Council we are doomed to power and the ruler cannot reconcile and become a partner with the condemned, there is no confidence left because they are sticking to the Syrian-Syrian project and we are also a Syrian project, but a Syrian Kurdish".

Nori Brimo, a representative of the Kurdistan Region of the Kurdish National Council in Syria and a member of the Central Committee of the Democratic Party of Kurdistan – Syria confirmed that "we are with the politicization of solutions not a militarization of solutions and we are not with the challenge and confrontation in front of Turkey. Let us take from Afrin a lesson and rule and for Kobani and Al-Jazeera regions we have no proposals other than the political solution, there must be a political solution with any party with Damascus, Russia, Turkey and America so as to ensure the reunion of the Kurdish class and stay away from confronting Turkey as if Turkey is only an enemy of the Kurds and what about Damascus, Baghdad and Tehran ??

Brimo concluded his response to Elham and Dirar "to avoid repeating the experience of Afrin in Kobani and the island must resort to the political solution and what is now posed by the establishment of a buffer zone we as a Kurdish National Council find it appropriate to prevent the shedding of Kurdish blood if the PYD continues to its acts, Afrin's experience will also be repeated there, and the region will witness more violations than Afrin, and how do they call the regime to return to the Kurdish areas and what about the blood that was sacrificed? If the regime comes and brings with it the Arabs from the tribes, they will carry out the reprisals against the Kurds, because the PYD also killed Arabs in Hajeen, Raqqa and Deir Al-Zour, and the Arabs who will rule there will not be better than the Arabs who rule Afrin now.
