President Barzani discusses the future of the Kurds of Syria with a European delegation
ARK News: Kurdistan Democratic Party Chairman Masoud Barzani discussed on Wednesday the future of the Kurds of Syria with European delegation in Erbil.
This came during Barzani’s reception of the Deputy Secretary General of the European Union for Political Affairs Jean-Christophe and the accompanying delegation in Erbil.
The two sides discussed the Syrian situation and the future of the Kurdish people in Syria, and Barzani expressed his concern in this regard as he put forward his proposals to resolve the Kurdish issue in Syria.
The meeting dealt with the military defeat that the IS organization received in the region, while Barzani reiterated that the military defeat is not enough, stressing the need to address the reasons that will ensure that terrorism does not grow again.
