Erdogan: We aim to establish safe areas in Syria for the return of refugees

ARK News: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Monday that his country aims to establish safe areas in northern Syria so that about four million Syrian refugees hosted by Turkey to return to their country.
Erdogan, who was speaking in Istanbul mentioned that about 300 thousand Syrians have really returned and that he expected the return of millions of Syrians to safe areas.
In December, US President Donald Trump announced the withdrawal of all US troops from Syria, and Erdogan later announced they had discussed the establishment of a 20-mile safe zone inside Syria on the border with Turkey.
