Erdogan expects a "safe area" in Syria within months

ARK News: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Friday that his country expects a "safe area" in Syria on the border with it within a few months and that only Turkey can establish this region.
He added that the establishment of an international alliance of the secure area is unlikely
Erdogan said in a speech in eastern Erzurum province that a final agreement with Syria in 1998 allows Turkey to enter Syrian territory when faced with threats.
