An armed group imposes a new tax on Afrin citizens
ARK News: Armed militias of the faction of Sultan Suleiman Shah (al-Amshat) force Kurdish citizens to pay 7% of their olive oil production in villages under their military control under the name of "Zakat of Oil ratio" and as for citizens who have sold their crops they are forced to pay the allowance in monetary terms and those who refuse to pay that percentage are threatened with other actions against them, according to the Human Rights Organization in Afrin, on Wednesday 23.1.2019.
Armed groups are still in Afrin continuing violations of the (abduction and detention and torture and looting) against Kurdish citizens in Afrin area in addition to the theft of homes and shops and vehicles.
In a related context, the police of Shara town raid the village of Belle of Bulbul town on Sunday 20/01/2019 and arrested both Rustam Mustafa Mohammed and Dara Hasan Omar for unknown reasons, and took them to their headquarters in the town of Shara, according to Human Rights Organization in Afrin.
