Erdogan: Turkey will not allow a safe area in Syria to turn into a "quagmire

ARK News: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Monday that Turkey will never allow a safe area in Syria to turn into a "quagmire" as it was in northern Iraq, referring to an area where operations by PKK militants have taken place.
Erdogan spoke at an event in Ankara that Turkey will work with all those who wish to provide logistical support to the planned safe area, but added that it would take action with regard to Syria if there was no fulfillment of the pledges received by Ankara.
