Netanyahu: Israel-UK Relations Could Deteriorate Further

Oct 03 2026

ARK News.. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu accused the British government, led by Andy Burnham, of acting like a “rogue state,” criticizing its policies toward Israel and its relationship with what he described as an “Islamist-leftist alliance.”

In an interview with the Daily Mail, Netanyahu said the British government was pursuing a policy of appeasement toward an “Islamist-leftist alliance,” criticizing London’s decision to ban trade with Israeli settlements in the West Bank.

Netanyahu linked the British decision to intelligence provided by Israel to British security agencies regarding an imminent “bloody” Iranian-backed attack on the Royal Air Force base at Fair Ford.

Netanyahu also said Israel still considers Britain an ally, but strongly criticized the direction of the British government.

“It is staggering hypocrisy. I don’t know how many lives we have saved by providing Britain with information about imminent attacks,” he said.

“They appease, and they attack Israel, the country fighting the terrorists in the terrorist regime that attacks them. They appease their enemies and attack those protecting them. That is what is happening, but it is a reversal of both logic and justice. It serves neither Britain nor the world,” Netanyahu added.

Netanyahu said relations between Israel and Britain could deteriorate further, adding that the British government, “in order to win favor with its political base, has gone so far as to act like a rogue state.”
