Arab League rejects Bashar al - Assad 's participation in the Tunis summit

ARK News: The Assistant Secretary-General of the Arab League “Husam Zaki” that there are no plans to discuss Syria's invitation to attend the Arab summit to be held in Tunis in March, during the economic summit scheduled to be held in Beirut this month.

Zaki said that "the Arab league has no plans to discuss Syria's invitation to the Tunis Summit, during the economic summit in Lebanon, which was not invited by Damascus as well."

It is worth mentioning that the Tunisian presidency recently talked about the pursuit of Tunisian President al-Baji Kayed al-sebsi to call Bashar al-Assad to attend the Arab summit in his country, through consultations conducted during the economic summit in Lebanon.
