Barzani Headquarters Condemns Iranian Attack on Masrour Barzani’s Private Office
ARK News.. Barzani Headquarters strongly condemned the Iranian attack targeting the private office of Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani and the residence of the director of the Parastin Agency, stressing that resorting to drones and missiles will not resolve any problems.
In an official statement today, Monday, August 17, 2026, Barzani Headquarters said, "We strongly condemn and denounce the drone attack that targeted, early this Monday morning, from the Iranian side across the border, the office of the Kurdistan Region Prime Minister and the residence of the director of the Protection Agency in Pirmam.”
Barzani Headquarters stressed that “the Kurdistan Region has never been part of the wars and tensions currently taking place in the region and that these unjustified and unwarranted attacks represent a blatant attempt to undermine the security and stability of the Kurdistan Region.”
The statement further emphasized that “resorting to the use of drones and missiles will not resolve any problems whatsoever.”
