Trial Water Pumping from Alouk Station to Continue for Another Week
ARK News.. The General Company for Drinking Water and Sewerage in Hasaka has announced that trial pumping operations from the Alouk water station will continue for an additional week to complete thorough testing and verification of the water’s suitability for human consumption.
According to Syria’s SANA news agency, Farhan al-Oweis, director of the General Company for Drinking Water and Sewerage in Hasaka, said the company’s Analysis and Disinfection Department is continuing to collect water samples from various locations and neighborhoods and conduct the necessary laboratory tests to fully verify that the water meets approved health standards.
The company also urged residents not to use water from the network for drinking during the trial pumping period, stressing that it may currently be used only for household purposes until an official announcement confirms that it is safe for human consumption.
