Macron: French military must be prepared for future wars
ARK News.. French President Emmanuel Macron said the country's armed forces must be prepared for future conflicts, stressing the need to strengthen France's military readiness in the face of evolving security challenges.
Speaking during his traditional address to the French Armed Forces on the eve of Bastille Day, France's national holiday, Macron said: "We must prepare for the wars of tomorrow. But we must also understand that our ability to fight them will depend on our readiness today. It is the wars of today that we must first succeed in."
Earlier, The Times quoted a senior NATO official as saying that the alliance has found no evidence indicating that Russia is preparing to enter into a military conflict with NATO.
