Qutaiba Badawi Orders Development of Til Kochar and Semalka Border Crossings and Rehabilitation of Qamishlo Border Crossing
ARK News.. Qutaiba Badawi, Chairman of the General Authority for Land and Sea Border Crossings and Customs, conducted a tour of Hasaka Governorate aimed at developing the governorate's border crossings.
During the visit, Badawi directed the rehabilitation of the Qamishlo border crossing, the development of the Til Kochar and Semalka border crossings, and the maintenance and rehabilitation of the roads leading to them in coordination with the Ministry of Transport, with the aim of improving logistical connectivity and facilitating trade and transportation.
Badawi also instructed the relevant authorities to prepare the necessary plans for rehabilitating the infrastructure and completing the technical equipment at the Qamishlo border crossing with Turkey, in preparation for reopening the crossing and bringing it back into service during the next phase, with the objective of strengthening cross-border connectivity and supporting commercial and economic activity.
