ARK News.. Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced positive progress in the latest round of indirect talks held in Doha between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Dr. Majed al-Ansari, spokesperson for Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said in a post on the social media platform X that mediators from Qatar and Pakistan had concluded a series of separate meetings with the American and Iranian delegations.

He stated that the discussions witnessed tangible progress on issues related to the Memorandum of Understanding signed in Islamabad, building on the outcomes reached during the Lake Lucerne Summit.

Al-Ansari also said that the parties agreed to continue consultations during the next phase, noting that the date of the next round of talks will be determined as soon as possible following the funeral ceremonies of Iran's former Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, who died as a result of a joint U.S.-Israeli strike on February 28.
