ARK News.. President Masoud Barzani held a phone call on Sunday, February 1, 2026, with Mazloum Abdi, Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).

During the call, the two sides discussed the latest developments in Syria and the steps required to implement the agreement reached between the Syrian government and the Syrian Democratic Forces.

They also emphasized the importance of resolving problems and overcoming obstacles through dialogue, and of strengthening peace and stability in Syria.
