Musa Ahmed: Barzani Charity Assistance Covered Education, Health, and Food Security Sectors in Syrian Kurdistan
ARK News.. The President of the Barzani Charity Foundation has announced the latest statistics on the organization’s humanitarian activities and aid delivered to displaced and affected communities in Syrian Kurdistan.
Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, Musa Ahmed, President of the Barzani Charity Foundation, said the assistance provided by the foundation covered several key sectors, including education, healthcare, livelihoods, and food security.
According to the released figures, the foundation has so far delivered the following services:
Education sector: Supplying and delivering fuel to 108 schools to ensure the continuity of the educational process under suitable conditions, in addition to distributing various forms of assistance to 82 other schools.
Employment opportunities: Creating job opportunities for 289 individuals, directly contributing to improving the living conditions of their families.
Food security: Distributing 9,330 hot meals to residents across the region.
Health sector: Providing medical services and treatment to 2,749 individuals in need of healthcare.
Musa Ahmed emphasized that the Barzani Charity Foundation, in line with its humanitarian mission, will continue delivering aid to various areas across Syrian Kurdistan.
