Iraq Repatriates Nearly 2,954 Families from Al-Hol Camp in 2025

ARK News.. Iraq’s Deputy Commander of Joint Operations said that the Al-Hol camp file in Syria has entered its final stages.
Lieutenant General Qais Al-Muhammadawi stated that Iraq received 15 batches of families from Al-Hol during 2025, bringing the total number of repatriated families to approximately 2,954 families across 32 batches, in addition to the transfer of 3,244 detainees.
Al-Muhammadawi also noted the completion of the Makhmour camp file and the commencement of disarmament operations, in parallel with ongoing coordination with the Kurdistan Regional Government.
