Donald Trump: Syrian Government Fully Supports Our Military Operations Against ISIS
ARK News.. The President of the United States confirmed that the Syrian government fully supports the military operation being carried out by the United States against ISIS in Syria.
Speaking on Saturday, December 20, 2025, via the “Truth Social” platform, U.S. President Donald Trump stated: “Syria has been drenched in blood and suffers from many problems, but it holds a promising future if ISIS is eliminated.”
Commenting on the U.S. airstrikes targeting ISIS positions in Syria, Trump said: “We are delivering very powerful strikes against ISIS strongholds in Syria.”
He added that the United States is carrying out “a very harsh response” to the killings committed by ISIS against American soldiers in Syria.
The United States has begun targeting dozens of ISIS sites across Syria as part of a large-scale military operation dubbed “Eagle Eye Strike,” in retaliation for the killing of two U.S. Army soldiers in an attack near the city of Palmyra last Saturday.
