Masrour Barzani Receives France’s Senior Representative in the Global Coalition Against ISIS
ARK News.. Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region Masrour Barzani received General François Tricot, France’s Senior National Representative in the Global Coalition against ISIS, on Monday, December 15, 2025.
The meeting, attended by Jean Brémont, France’s Consul General to the Kurdistan Region, discussed ways to strengthen relations between the Kurdistan Region and France, as well as the security situation in Iraq and mechanisms to confront the threats of terrorism and ISIS in both Iraq and Syria.
Both sides stressed the importance of continued support for the Peshmerga forces and the need for ongoing coordination between the Global Coalition and the Kurdistan Region in combating terrorism in order to safeguard the security and stability of the region.
