Faisal Youssef: The MEPS 2025 Forum Brought Joy to the Hearts of All Kurdish People
ARK News.. The spokesperson for the Kurdish National Council (KNC) in Syria affirmed that the Kurdistan Region continues to support the unity of political forces in Syrian Kurdistan.
In an interview with Kurdistan24 on Friday, 21 November 2025, ENKS spokesperson Faisal Youssef said that the Council’s invitation to attend the Middle East Peace and Security Forum (MEPS 2025) in Duhok, along with the warm welcome from President Masoud Barzani and Prime Minister Masrour Barzani, is clear evidence that the Kurdistan Region remains committed to backing the unity of Kurdish political parties in Syrian Kurdistan.
Youssef noted that the participation of Syrian Kurdistan representatives in MEPS and their reception by President Barzani and Prime Minister Masrour Barzani carried an important and meaningful message.
He added that the scenes witnessed at the forum brought joy to the hearts of all Kurdish people.
