Nechirvan Barzani Congratulates President Masoud Barzani
ARK News.. Deputy President of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), Nechirvan Barzani, extended his congratulations to President Masoud Barzani as the party surpassed one million votes in the sixth session of Iraq’s parliamentary elections. He reaffirmed his commitment to President Barzani’s guidance in serving the people and safeguarding the rights of all communities in Kurdistan and Iraq.
In his statement, Nechirvan Barzani said: “From the depths of my heart, I extend my warmest congratulations to His Excellency President Barzani, to the families of our noble martyrs, to all KDP members and supporters, and to the loyal people of Kurdistan on this great and historic victory of our party in the Iraqi parliamentary elections.”
He stressed that “this victory is a triumph for all of Kurdistan and Iraq, and a source of collective pride and joy.”
The KDP Deputy President added: “My deepest gratitude and appreciation go to all the dedicated individuals who bore the burden, worked tirelessly, and acted with utmost devotion to bring the KDP’s votes to over one million—making it once again the leading party.”
He continued:“They have proven our strength, made our voice in Baghdad louder and clearer, and enabled us to better uphold the Constitution and strengthen federalism.”
Nechirvan Barzani reaffirmed: “We renew our pledge to His Excellency President Barzani—our leader and elder—that we will always remain under his wise direction, serving our people and homeland, protecting the rights of all communities in Kurdistan and Iraq, and working to make Iraq a homeland for everyone. Together, we will build a brighter future for Kurdistan and Iraq.”
He concluded by saying: “On this occasion, we bow in reverence before the pure souls of our martyrs and honor their memory with the utmost respect and gratitude.”
