Masrour Barzani: Citizens’ Decision Today Will Shape Iraq’s Governance Path for the Next Four Years

ARK News.. Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Prime Minister Masrour Barzani stated on Tuesday morning, November 11, 2025, while participating in the voting process, that “the citizens’ decision today will determine the course of governance in Iraq over the next four years.”

He expressed hope that voters would be able to cast their ballots in a calm and free environment, in line with their own will, and elect loyal and patriotic representatives to the Iraqi Parliament to defend their legitimate and constitutional rights.

In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Today is the day of the people’s decision. I hope that citizens can cast their votes freely and peacefully, according to their own will, and elect sincere and patriotic representatives to the Iraqi Parliament to defend their legitimate and constitutional rights.

There is no doubt that elections are important, and I hope the people make their choice away from any pressure, because the people’s decision today will determine the path and style of governance for the next four years.

I also hope that the Independent High Electoral Commission handles the voters’ ballots with full honesty until the completion of the process.

I wish success to everyone and hope that all citizens will go out and cast their votes today. I wish you all success.
