U.S. State Department Confirms Trump Administration’s Support for Lifting Caesar Act Sanctions on Syria

ARK News.. The U.S. State Department has confirmed that Donald Trump’s administration supports lifting the sanctions imposed on Syria under the Caesar Act.
According to Reuters, a State Department spokesperson said that the United States remains in regular contact with its regional partners and welcomes any investment or engagement in Syria that could help create opportunities for Syrians to build a nation marked by peace and prosperity.
The spokesperson added that Washington supports lifting the Caesar Act sanctions through the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), which is currently being debated in the U.S. Congress.
