Aleppo: Authorities Arrest Suspects Involved in Drug Trafficking
ARK News.. The Syrian Ministry of Interior announced the arrest of three individuals involved in drug trafficking in Aleppo, seizing large quantities of Captagon pills and hashish that were reportedly prepared for distribution.
In a statement released via its official Telegram channel, the ministry said:
“The Anti-Narcotics Branch in Aleppo, in coordination with the Internal Security Command, carried out a precise operation that resulted in the arrest of three suspects in the southern countryside of the province, following sustained monitoring of their drug-related activities.”
The statement added that the operation led to the confiscation of 267,000 Captagon pills and 20 kilograms of hashish, all intended for sale and distribution.
