ARK News.. Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani received the Italian Ambassador to Iraq, Nicolo Fontana, on Tuesday, October 7, 2025.

During the meeting, both sides reaffirmed the importance of further strengthening bilateral relations across various sectors, particularly in agriculture and tourism.

The discussions also touched on the overall political situation in Iraq and ongoing preparations for the upcoming parliamentary elections.
