President Barzani Extends Congratulations on the Occasion of the “Jama” Festival to Yazidi Sisters and Brothers

ARK News.. President Masoud Barzani congratulated the Kurdish Yazidis on the occasion of the Jama Festival, stressing that it is the duty of all parties to work toward protecting and strengthening the culture of coexistence and solidarity among all religious and ethnic communities in Kurdistan.

In the Name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful

I extend my warmest congratulations and blessings to all Yazidis in Kurdistan and around the world on the occasion of the Jama Festival.

The Yazidis are a cherished and inseparable part of the people of Kurdistan. Despite all the hardships and ordeals endured by our Yazidi sisters and brothers, including the imposition of an illegal and abnormal situation on Sinjar and their areas for several years—a matter that continues to concern us—the Kurdish Yazidis celebrate their religious festivals and occasions in peace and freedom, thanks to their strong faith and resilience.

On this occasion, I reaffirm that it is the duty of all parties to work for the protection and promotion of the culture and values of coexistence and unity among all religious and ethnic components of Kurdistan.

May your festival be blessed, and may you remain in happiness and well-being.
