Damascus: Kurdish National Council and Brotherhood for Peace and Love Association Discuss Key Issues

ARK News.. A delegation from the Brotherhood for Peace and Love Association, led by Mohammad al-Hajeej, paid a visit to the office of the Kurdish National Council (KNC) in Syria, located in Damascus. The delegation was received by Mahabad Taziani, head of the KNC’s Damascus office.

During the meeting, the visiting delegation congratulated the Council on the opening of its Damascus office, describing it as an important step toward strengthening communication between various political and social forces.

Discussions focused on the future structure of the Syrian state and possible mechanisms for building a democratic system that guarantees the rights of all communities without discrimination.

The two sides also addressed the state of the educational curricula in al-Hasaka province and the need to update them to reflect the region’s cultural diversity.

Regarding the upcoming parliamentary elections in Syria, the talks touched on the forthcoming electoral process, mechanisms for participation, and the importance of establishing genuine national partnership based on mutual understanding and strengthening national unity.
