Ninth Anniversary of the Al-Sanabel Wedding Hall Massacre in Hasakah

ARK News.. Today, Friday, October 3, 2025, marks the ninth anniversary of the sl-Sanabel Wedding Hall massacre, caused by a terrorist suicide bombing that targeted a wedding celebration at the entrance of Hasakah city in Syrian Kurdistan.
On October 3, 2016, an ISIS suicide bomber struck a Kurdish wedding for a member of the Fatemi family at the al-Sanabel Hall, located on the Hasaka–Qamishlo road near the village of Tal Tawil, between the Sabbagh and Qarmid checkpoints.
The attack left 36 people dead and around 100 others wounded among those attending the celebration.
