ARK News.. Kurdish media sources reported that the oil tanker Valesina is scheduled to load 700,000 barrels of crude from the Kurdistan Region at Turkey’s Ceyhan port on October 2.

According to Reuters, two industry sources confirmed that the Valesina will be the first vessel to carry Kurdistan crude following the resumption of exports through Turkey on September 27.

International oil companies operating in the Kurdistan Region resumed pumping crude to Ceyhan last Saturday for the first time in years, in preparation for export to global markets through Iraq’s state oil marketer SOMO, under a new agreement reached between Erbil and Baghdad.
