Kurdish Woman from Kobani Abducted by Government Forces in Aleppo
ARK News.. Media sources reported that a Kurdish woman from the city of Kobani in Syrian Kurdistan was abducted by forces affiliated with the Syrian government.
According to BasNews, the victim, identified as Haifa Adel Tayyar, was kidnapped while traveling to the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood of Aleppo to visit relatives. The abduction reportedly occurred at a checkpoint manned by government-affiliated forces along the Deir Hafer–Aleppo road.
Relatives of Haifa issued an urgent appeal to the authorities to disclose her whereabouts and ensure her safety. They also called on local and international human rights organizations to intervene immediately, pressure for her release, and put an end to such violations against Kurdish civilians.
