Europe: Kurdish National Council Stresses Unified Kurdish Stance Domestically and Internationally
ARK News.. The European Representation of the Kurdish National Council (KNC) in Syria organized a virtual political symposium with the participation of representatives from Kurdish and Kurdistan parties, along with several political figures active on the European stage.
From the KNC side, the meeting was attended by Faisal Youssef, a member of the Council’s Presidential Body and of the joint delegation formed at the Qamishlo Conference, as well as members of the European Representation.
In his opening remarks, Abdul Karim Haji, head of the KNC European Representation, emphasized the importance of such meetings in unifying efforts and strengthening communication between the KNC and the Kurdish diaspora in Europe.
Faisal Youssef reviewed key developments on the Syrian and Kurdish scenes, focusing on:
The invitation extended by the Transitional Administration to the KNC to visit Damascus.
The unified Kurdish delegation formed following the Qamishlo Conference.
The new political direction of the Transitional Administration in light of the recent events in Sweida.
The symposium underscored the need to activate the role of Kurdish communities in supporting the Kurdish political position and continuing such meetings to exchange views and work towards a unified and influential Kurdish stance on both the national and international levels.
