Barzani highlighted the revolution’s key achievements, particularly the March 11, 1970 Autonomy Agreement, which forced the former Iraqi regime to formally recognize Kurdish national rights. He emphasized that the values of the September Revolution—unity, coexistence, and resistance to tyranny—remain vital for protecting the Kurdistan Region’s constitutional status.

Paying tribute to the martyrs of the revolution and all those who sacrificed their lives for Kurdistan’s freedom, Barzani stressed that their courage laid the foundation for today’s progress.

He called on the people of Kurdistan to preserve these achievements and continue strengthening solidarity to face ongoing challenges and secure a better future.
