Masrour Barzani and Nora al Kaabi Discuss Latest Developments in Syria

ARK News.. Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani received a UAE delegation headed by Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Nora al Kaabi to discuss regional developments, including the situation in Syria.

The meeting, also attended by UAE Minister of Culture Sheikh Salem bin Khalid al Qassimi and several other Emirati officials, underscored the importance of strengthening the close ties and friendship between the Kurdistan Region and the United Arab Emirates.

Prime Minister Barzani highly praised the UAE’s continued support for the Kurdistan Region, especially from President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Vice President and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

For their part, the Emirati delegation highlighted the Kurdistan Region’s significant role, expressing the UAE’s commitment to expanding avenues of cooperation and joint coordination across all fields.

The talks also included an exchange of views on the broader situation in Iraq and the wider region, with a particular focus on the latest developments in Syria.
