PM Masrour Barzani: Halabja Becomes Kurdistan Region’s First Province with 24-Hour Electricity Supply
ARK News.. Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani announced that Halabja has become the first province in the region to receive uninterrupted, around-the-clock electricity.
The decision, implemented under the directives of President Barzani, makes Halabja the first province to enjoy this service ahead of the rest of the Kurdistan Region.
In a post on the social media platform X, Prime Minister Barzani wrote: “Thanks to the Ronaki Project, nearly four million citizens and 115,000 businesses across the Kurdistan Region are now benefiting from continuous, 24-hour electricity supply.”
He added: “I am pleased to announce that Halabja is the first province in the Region to be fully equipped with uninterrupted power. Congratulations to Kurdistan.”
