Afrin ... Armed groups kidnap Kurdish citizens and impose taxes on them

Dec 26 2018

ARK News: An armed group of the armed factions in Afrin on Tuesday 25/12/2018 raided a civilian house and imposed some taxes on, otherwise detention would be his fate.

A private source from Afrin reported the ARK Media that an armed group imposed a tax on Osman family in the village of Gulia Jour of Rajo town and forced the family to pay seven oil containers by force.

The so-called "Hazmat" faction of the Turkish occupation in Afrin yesterday also carried out the abduction of both Adel Mohammed and Omar Mohammed from the city center of Afrin.

A source from Afrin who preferred not to be named said that al-Hamzat faction asked their families to pay a ransom or 200 oil containers for their release.

It is noteworthy that both citizens Adel and Omar are from the village of "Kafarshil" of Afrin city center and their fate is still unknown.

The pro-Turkish armed factions impose royalties and ransoms on Kurdish civilians since their occupation of Afrin under vague and far-fetched arguments which aims to force the Kurds to leave their homes and devote the demographic change.
