Jawdat Yılmaz: Turkey Passed a Historic Test in the Syrian File
ARK News.. Turkish Vice President Jawdat Yılmaz affirmed that Turkey has honored its civilizational and historical legacy in its handling of the Syrian crisis, especially by hosting Syrians fleeing an oppressive regime.
In a public address, Yılmaz said that there are vast untapped potentials in Syria, and that a stable Syria will grow rapidly in the coming years.
He emphasized that both the Turkish people and government have taken a principled stance in the face of provocations and disinformation surrounding the issue of Syrian refugees.
“Our President has maintained a very firm position on this matter,” he added, “despite the potential political cost at times.”
Yılmaz’s comments come as Turkey continues to navigate the complex political and humanitarian dimensions of the Syrian conflict, with an emphasis on long-term regional stability.
