Jordan and Lebanon Reaffirm the Need to Safeguard Syria’s Stability and Security
ARK News.. Jordan’s King Abdullah II and Lebanese President Joseph Aoun have stressed the importance of maintaining Syria’s stability and security as a key step toward facilitating the safe and voluntary return of Syrian refugees.
According to Jordan’s Petra News Agency, King Abdullah received President Aoun on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, in Amman. During the meeting, both leaders underscored the need to support stability in Syria.
The two sides also discussed key regional developments and reiterated that ensuring security and stability in Syria is essential for creating conditions conducive to the dignified repatriation of displaced Syrians.
