President Barzani: A Salute to the Sacred Souls of the Martyrs and the Heroes Who Shaped Our Present

ARK News.. On the occasion of the 63rd anniversary of his enlistment in the Peshmerga forces, President Masoud Barzani paid tribute on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, to the martyrs and the heroes whose sacrifices have become a source of pride for their people.
In a message posted on his official account on Platform X, President Barzani wrote:
“Salute to all Peshmerga—I kiss their eyes. Salute to the sacred souls of the martyrs, and to all the heroes who shaped our present and became the pride of their nation.”
It has now been 63 years since President Barzani first joined the ranks of the Kurdistan Peshmerga forces.
