A Kurdish from Afrin receives a doctorate degree in vascular surgery in Britain

ARK News: A Kurdish student from Afrin city in Kurdistan of Syria and resident in Britain with his family, on Saturday 22/12/2018, received a doctorate in vascular surgery in Britain.

According to his mother, Amina Brimo, on her personal page, her son, Peshang Abdul Hannan, completed his studies yesterday with excellence after receiving a doctorate in vascular surgery from the University of Leeds in Britain

"I am very happy and very proud of my son, Dr. Peshang Abdul Hannan, for his doctorate in vascular surgery from the University of Leeds in Britain, and I wish him every success in serving the Kurdish people," Brimo said of her son.

Amina Primo also published pictures and a video showing the honoring of her son by the British University in addition to a commemorative photo holding Kurdistan flag.

It is worth mentioning that Dr. Peshang suffered greatly during his study journey and asylum, but his perseverance and constant effort earned a well-deserved Ph.D.
