Jean-Noël Barrot: France Will Always Support the Kurds and Stand by Their Side
ARK News.. French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot reaffirmed that France will always stand with the Kurdish people and emphasized the continuation of cooperation in combating terrorism across the region.
In a post shared on the platform "X" following his meetings in the Kurdistan Region, Barrot stated, “France will always support the Kurds and stand by their side,” underscoring “the continuation of the partnership with the Kurds in the fight against terrorism in the region.”
Barrot also highlighted the importance of safeguarding “the rights and interests of the Kurds” within the framework of a political solution in Syria, stressing that “these rights must be considered within the Syrian government.”
