President Barzani: Bombing of Qaladze and the University of Sulaymaniyah Was a Heinous Crime That Will Never Be Forgotten
ARK News.. President Masoud Barzani issued a statement on his official X (formerly Twitter) account today, marking the 50th anniversary of the bombing of Qaladze and the University of Sulaymaniyah, a tragedy that remains deeply etched in the memory of the Kurdish people.
"In remembrance of the 50th anniversary of the bombing of Qaladze and the University of Sulaymaniyah," Barzani stated, "we honor and pay tribute to the souls of the martyrs and victims of this catastrophe."
President Barzani described the attack as a “tragic event that stands as further evidence of the brutality and indifference of the former Iraqi regime.”
He stressed that the bombing was a “blatant crime against civilians and will never be forgotten.”
