Afrin.. Faylaq al-Sham Commander Arrests and Brutally Tortures Kurdish Civilian
ARK News.. A senior commander in the Sham Legion has reportedly assaulted and arbitrarily detained a Kurdish man from Afrin, subjecting him to severe physical abuse and verbal insults.
According to a confidential source speaking to ARK News, Rashid Abu Bakr, a commander in the Sham Legion, violently assaulted 35-year-old Wahid Rashid Ismail from the village of Midan Akbas, located in the Rajo district of Afrin, on April 4, 2025.
The source stated that the commander falsely accused Ismail of stealing "ammunition rounds" and subsequently arrested him. The Kurdish civilian was reportedly subjected to brutal torture before eventually being released.
