Elements of al-Amshat harvest one olive field in Qarmitlq village by force

ARK News: The pro-Turkish army elements of Sultan Suleiman Shah faction (al-Amshat) on Thursday 20/12/2018 harvested about 400 olive trees by force in one of the villages in rural Afrin Kurdistan of Syria.

A source from Qarmitlq village reported to ARK Media Foundation that elements belonging to Sultan Suleiman Shah’s faction (al-Amshat) on 20/12/2018 harvested about 400 olive trees belong to a Kurdish owner, Khoshnav Daoud nickname (Khosho)by force in Qarmitlq village of Shiye town by force under fails pretext that the owner of olive trees is out of the village, and now he lives in Afrin city, but he was prevented to return to his home.

The same source added that elements of al-Amshat under threat of weapons forced workers from Qarmitlq village and Shiye town to harvest that olive field, otherwise they will be abducted or put into jail.

It is noteworthy that the pro-Turkish army factions, which participated in the occupation of the city of Afrin, committed dozens of crimes against the people of the city and its countryside, killing, kidnapping and torture, along with looting and theft, burning agricultural crops and forests, the seizure of property of citizens, specially the harvest of olives.
