Russian Forces Shoot Down Two Drones in Tartous and Latakia
ARK News.. A Syrian human rights source reported that an explosion was heard in the city of Tartous after Russian forces shot down an unidentified drone attempting to approach the city's port.
According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, Russian forces stationed at the Tartous port downed the drone as it attempted to enter the area.
The source stated that the drone crashed between the former military hospital and the blood bank on the road to the village of Jdeidet after being targeted by Russian forces.
In a related development, a similar explosion was heard, likely caused by Russian forces shooting down another unidentified drone over Himeimim Airbase in the Latakia countryside.
