The PYD rejects the entre of the Peshmerga and jogs to hold meetings with the Syrian regime
ARK News: While Democratic Union Party officials refuse to enter the Roj Peshmerga forces into Kurdistan of Syria this Party is rushing to hold meetings with the Russian regime to avoid the danger of a Turkish battle on regions of the eastern Euphrates of Kurdistan, Syria.
A source close to the Democratic Unionist Party (PYD), on Monday, 17/12/2018, confirmed holding a meeting between PYD and the Syrian regime, sponsored by Russia and Iran, regarding the Turkish threats to the regions of Kurdistan region Syria.
The source, who declined to disclose his identity to told to (Bass News) that «the regime wants PYD handed over all the northern regions of the country in exchange for preventing any Turkish invasion of the region.»
The source added that «the regime stressed on the need to restore what it called (the national sovereignty) on the north and the return of administrative authority, security and military to the border areas with Turkey».
The source also pointed out that "the regime reminded PYD of the experience of Afrin and its refusal to hand over the area to it and what resulted from the losing battle," according to the same source.
The source pointed out that “the regime wants to restore areas under the control of PYD in western Kurdistan in the north of the country in full and negotiates later on cultural rights”.
The source pointed out that “the meeting took place between the regime and the PYD with the support and care of the Russians and Iranians in the town of Ain Issa of rural Gire Spi (Tall Abiadh) , pointing out that “the Democratic Union Party requested a deadline to study the demands of the regime”.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had reaffirmed on Monday that his country's troops could begin military action in the areas of (Kurdistan of Syria) and East Euphrates at any moment, revealing that he had received a "positive response" from his American counterpart Donald Trump in connection with the upcoming operation.
