Syrian Foreign Minister to Visit Baghdad Soon
ARK News.. Syria's Acting Foreign Minister, Asaad al-Shaibani, revealed that he has received an official invitation to visit Iraq.
In an interview with journalist Ammar Taqi during the World Government Summit in Dubai, al-Shaibani stated, “All Syrians participated in the change that the country has witnessed. Any change is often accompanied by concerns, and the government understands this, which is why it is working to reassure the people.”
He added that Syria has overcome its greatest challenge—the former regime that compromised the dignity and freedom of the Syrian people.
“For the first time, Syrians feel that they are truly represented in their government, reflecting a genuine desire for belonging and participation,” al-Shaibani noted.
The Acting Foreign Minister confirmed that he received an official invitation to visit Iraq and announced that he would be traveling to Baghdad soon.
