Dec 17 2018

ARK News: In its regular news, the ARK on Sunday 16/12/201, interviewed the head of the Kurdistan Regional Representation of the Kurdish National Council in Syria and a member of the Central Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party – Syria, Nori Brimo on the question of the entry of Peshmerga Roj to Kurdistan Syria which became the main concern in the Kurdish street.

The head of the representative of the Kurdistan region of the Kurdish National Council in Syria and a member of the Central Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria Nori Brimo said that Peshmerga Roj established since its establishment for returning to Kurdistan Syria and protecting the Kurdish areas, and that the possibility of entering the Peshmerga to Kurdistan Syria does not take place without taking the green light from the United States and understanding with the Turkish state, and that the entry of the Peshmerga will be a stabilizing factor in the region by defusing the war, which Turkey has been promoting for a period to invasion of different areas of Kurdistan Syria, as it did in Afrin last March.

In the same context on the question of the possibility of entering the Peshmerga, Primo confirmed that until this moment no official authority has been authorized or confirmed on this subject neither by the Kurdistan Democratic Party nor by the Kurdish National Council nor by the Peshmerga officials themselves regarding the entry of the Peshmerga to Kurdistan Syria, but their entry is possible because their entry will be a factor of stability and peace in the region, and will prevent the specter of war from the region by the Turkish state, and their lack of entry will further complicate the deepening Syrian crisis.

Primo added that Turkey is fueling the war through statements made by its officials that they will invade the Kurdish areas against PYD forces and distance them from the Turkish border, which is considered a threat to their national security on the one hand, on the other hand, the PYD also creates Pretexts and justifications for Turkey to invade the region by claiming the age resistance and going to the war against Turkey, as it did before in Afrin.
Primo also added that the Kurdish areas need such a force, the Peshmerga, and that America also needs the Peshmerga because it is a stabilizing factor in the Kurdish regions and because America's experience with the PYD proved its failure so that America could not disengage between the PYD and the Syrian regime on the one hand and the Kurdistan Workers Party PKK on the other hand.

Brimo concluded by saying that if there is no American surprise in the east of the Euphrates, the Turkish forces and allied militias will enter Kurdistan Syria, similar to what Turkey has done in Jarabils and Afrin. Even if Turkey does not enter the eastern Euphrates, the PYD will create arguments and excuses through the fire statements and the talk about the resistance of the age and going to the war against the Turkish forces, he pointed out that we do not want the war we need peace and stability in the region, America wants to end the role of PYD in the region, because the American experience with the PYD proved its failure.
