Saudi Arabia Reaffirms Readiness to Support Syria’s Recovery
ARK News.. Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister emphasized that Syria could regain its pivotal position if Syrians work together, underscoring the importance of preserving Syria’s sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity.
In a press conference with his Syrian counterpart, Asaad Al-Shaibani, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan announced that the Kingdom is ready to support Syria’s recovery. He stated, “We are engaged in dialogue with relevant countries to lift sanctions on Syria,” highlighting the importance of expediting measures to implement this process. He also noted that Riyadh has received positive signals regarding the easing of sanctions on Syria.
The Saudi Foreign Minister stressed the need to support the revival of Syria’s economy, commending the steps taken by the new Syrian administration. He expressed confidence in the ability of the Syrian people to successfully navigate this transitional phase.
