ARK News.. The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) revealed that a UN humanitarian mission visited the city of Manbij, east of Aleppo, on Tuesday, amidst escalating hostilities in the region.

According to OCHA, the UN delegation met with representatives of local authorities, the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, and local NGOs to address issues related to Tishreen Dam, which has been under attack in recent days, as well as to identify and address other gaps.

The team also visited Manbij National Hospital, where healthcare workers continue to provide services voluntarily and with limited resources due to prior incidents of looting that affected medical equipment, ambulances, and generators.

Additionally, OCHA and UNICEF concluded a monitoring mission at the Ain al-Baydha Water Station in eastern Aleppo, which was recently rehabilitated with support from the Syria Humanitarian Fund.

In recent weeks, Tishreen Dam in eastern rural Aleppo has become a flashpoint for clashes between the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and factions of the Syrian National Army.
