Residents of Deir Ez-Zour and Raqqa Demand the Withdrawal of Syrian Democratic Forces
ARK News.. A Syrian human rights source reported that residents of Deir Ez-Zour and Raqqa provinces are calling for the withdrawal of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) from their areas and the deployment of the Military Operations Administration forces.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights stated that Deir Ez-Zour city and the countryside of Raqqa province are witnessing widespread protests against the SDF amid escalating tensions. Protesters are demanding the entry of the Military Operations Administration forces into the region following the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s regime.
According to the source, the protests have resulted in the deaths of three people and injuries to ten others.
The clashes erupted between demonstrators and SDF forces, which used live ammunition to disperse the gatherings, leading to casualties.
The situation remains tense as calls for change grow louder in the wake of recent political shifts in Syria.
