An armed group kidnaps a member of the Local Council in Bulbul town

ARK News: Members of Sultan Osman faction attacked an olive press on Tuesday night, 11/12/2018, located in Qastal Khidriya of Bulbul town and kidnapped a member of the Local Council of Bulbul town, and took him to an unknown destination, where he had subjected to severe torture after he was released the following morning.

An informed source in Bulbul town told the ARK Media Foundation that militias belonging to the faction of Sultan Osman raided the olive press belonging to the citizen Ahmed Majid Abu Nazmi in the village of Khidriya in Bulbul town of Afrin Kurdistan and kidnapped the member of the Local Council of Bulbul town Mr. Ahmad Bakir amid the slanderous words in front of workers and took him to an unknown destination.

According to the same source, Ahmad Bakir was severely beaten by armed elements, and he was interrogated until 5:00 am and then released.

This is not the first operation which carried out by members of the armed groups against the members of the Local Councils in Afrin region that the members of the faction of Sultan Suleiman Shah al-Amshat were abducted the deputy head of the Local Council of Shiye town and because of the brutal torture he was martyred.

It is worth note that the Turkish government bears the moral and political responsibility of those practices because Turkey is the ruling power in the Afrin region.
